Heatwave this Weekend

The US National Weather Service of Omaha/Valley Nebraska reports that hot and humid weather returns for the weekend into Monday as many locations see triple digit heat indices. Make sure to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if outdoors! Heat index values increase on Saturday, peaking at 105-115 F Sunday and Monday. With that heat-related illness will be a threat each day. Stay hydrated and take frequent break. Consider rescheduling strenuous outdoor activities to the early morning or evening hours, if possible.
