Hi everybody, it's Kelly with Saunders County Online and it's time to take a look at our news headlines. Normally on Thursdays Suzi Nelson, the managing editor of the Wahoo Newspaper comes in and let you know about it though she wasn't able to make it today. So here I am filling in and bringing you the news headlines. Don't forget the Wahoo. Ashland and Waverly newspapers are the newsstands right now, so you can go out and get them and look at details of all of our stories.
The Mead Public Library is hosting a magic show this morning at 10am at the Fire Hall and meet magician Keith West and Miss Kitty the Library Lady will be entertaining families until 11am.
Wahoo's First Bank of Nebraska is hosting a customer appreciation picnic today from 11am to 1pm at Smith Park in Wahoo.
The Wahoo City Wide Garage Sale kicks off today and I've seen a lot of garage sales throughout the area. Sales go throughout the weekend and maps are available at NP Mart, Corner Market and the BP gas stations.
The Wahoo library will be hosting a nationally known accordion player and children's polka musician, that's coming up tomorrow evening. Mike Schneider, also known as Uncle Mike, will perform his Pint Size Polka program on Friday at 5:30 pm at the library,
There's plenty of Legion baseball action in all three newspapers this week. Sports editor Alex Eller has been busy attending local youth sports camps. Pictures of the Wahoo wrestling camp and the Wahoo girls basketball camp are in this week's Wahoo Newspaper, so go ahead and check out the sports section.
